Frequently Asked Questions
-
I like my current teleradiology group. Can I continue to use my current group, but call for a HyperStat if needed?
Absolutely!
Our HyperStat service is unique and is perfect for when a clinician wants an immediate interpretation of a CT or MRI in order to quickly move on to further procedures or diagnostics which may change depending upon the imaging interpretation.
If for other cases you like your current teleradiology team, then keep using them!
-
How is a HyperStat faster than any other stat?
Advanced imaging files are LARGE.
We have seen these files take 30-60 minutes just to send to a teleradiology company, and then the clock starts for guaranteed turnaround times.
Our process allows for the radiologist to see the scan just as quickly as you would see it on a computer in your own hospital, and then we read it out immediately!
-
Can you help to optimize our CT and MRI protocols?
Yes!
An optimal CT protocol will not only produce quality images, but will also do so as efficiently as possible and with as little radiation exposure to the patient as achievable. We have experience in creating CT protocols and are happy to work with your hospital.
MRI protocol optimization requires an entirely different skill set from CT. While we do not offer this service, we know a few great people that can help.
Please send us a message if you are interested in this service!
-
Will I actually speak to a radiologist with each HyperStat?
Yes!
HyperStat is not just fast, but with every HyperStat case a radiologist will speak directly to the clinician on the case. This process makes the radiologist a part of your team and overall improves the care that your hospital will provide for your patients.
-
After Hours Service: Can I really call and speak to a radiologist in the middle of the night?
HyperStat interpretations can be requested at ANY time, 24 - 7 - 365.
Availability is not guaranteed outside of normal business hours. If we were unavailable to assist with your case and you reached out to another company, we will provide 2nd opinion interpretations at no charge

Why can't I send ultrasound images in to be reviewed?
We truly appreciate being contacted for ultrasound cases - because that means our clients are happy with our services and appreciate the value provided from our reports.
However, we are focusing on optimizing our processes for CT and MRI, especially our HyperStat service, so for this reason we ask that ultrasound cases be sent elsewhere.
